Funding

2 year olds: entitlement is available to certain families if they meet certain criteria. See Oxfordshire County Council for more information.

3 year olds: All children are entitled to receive free, part-time early education from the start of the term following their 3rd birthday.  The funding is available for a maximum of 15 hours a week, 38 weeks of the year.

From September 2017 the Government is rolling out a programme that doubles fully funded childcare. 3- and 4-year-olds of working parents in England will eligible for 1140 hours of government-funded childcare per year – the equivalent of 30 hours per week over 38 weeks of the year.

After careful analysis of the impact of increasing funding for eligible 3- and 4- year olds from 15 to 30 hours, including discussions with local childcare providers and Oxfordshire County Council, we have decided not to make the 30 hours funding available in our setting. Please  read our blog post about this to understand why we have made this decision.
